4 Apr 2025

EBSI-NE node operators agree on the next steps after the project's ends

Bruges, 4 April 2025 - The EBSI-NE Consortium held a workshop at Howest University's premises in Bruges. The strategic meeting led by Daniel Du Seuil (Howest University) and Evrim Tan (KU Leuven), aimed at shaping the final phase of the EBSI-NE project and setting the course for its long-term future.

Bringing together key stakeholders and node operators, the workshop focused on three main priorities:

  1. Defining the future role of node operators within the upcoming EDIC-EUROPEUM framework,

  2. Evaluating governance models and sustainable business strategies for a post-EBSI-NE environment, and

  3. Outlining a clear roadmap for continued collaboration and impact in the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI).
