EBSI-NE node operators agree on the next steps after the project's ends
Bruges, 4 April 2025 - The EBSI-NE Consortium held a workshop at Howest University's premises in Bruges. The strategic meeting led by Daniel Du Seuil (Howest University) and Evrim Tan (KU Leuven), aimed at shaping the final phase of the EBSI-NE project and setting the course for its long-term future.
Bringing together key stakeholders and node operators, the workshop focused on three main priorities:
Defining the future role of node operators within the upcoming EDIC-EUROPEUM framework,
Evaluating governance models and sustainable business strategies for a post-EBSI-NE environment, and
Outlining a clear roadmap for continued collaboration and impact in the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI).

The event marks a crucial moment for the consortium as it prepares for the transition toward a more integrated and resilient digital infrastructure across Europe.
With significant updates expected in the coming months, the EBSI-NE Consortium encourages stakeholders to stay engaged and informed through its official platform at ebsi-ne.com
