EBSI Demystifying Seminar in Croatia

6 Dec 2024

Acceleration Towards a Global Trans-Humanistic Ecosystem

Zagreb, 6 December 2024 - EBSI-NE Croatian and Slovenian partners HATZ, RBI, and Hashnet held a demystifying seminar on EBSI at the COTRUGLI Business School. The event consisted of five comprehensive lectures that covered the evolution of DLT technologies, their alignment with the EU strategic program for infrastructure development, and the advancement of applications. The seminar emphasised the integration of emerging technologies into Web4 applications and explored their transformative impact on Industry 5.0 and Society 5.0.

The development of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) is becoming increasingly significant, alongside the construction of a pan-European blockchain and service infrastructure. In Croatia, we have addressed this trend by establishing the National Blockchain Partnership and launching initiatives to disseminate knowledge and perspectives on DLT technology through seminars and by incorporating Web3 applications into university curricula.

Additionally, the seminar introduced detailed EU programs and the joint Slovenian-Croatian project initiative, EDUWERSE, which responds to the EU call for "Specialised Education Programs in Key Capacity Areas" (DIGITAL-2024-ADVANCED-DIGITAL-07-KEYCAPACITY). The initiative aims to integrate cutting-edge Web3 and Web4 technologies into the educational system, fostering faster adoption and application of modern technological innovations. This effort aspires to drive the development of a new trans-humanistic socio-economic ecosystem.
