HOGESCHOOL WEST-VLAANDEREN HOWEST

The security and privacy research group belong to the Applied Computer Science department at the Howest, University of Applied Sciences in West Flanders. Howest has a long history of knowledge collaboration with both large international corporations as local SME’s. This research group is active in four domains, namely cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, blockchain and innovative web platforms. One of the main objectives is to bridge the gap between the cutting-edge fundamental research in each of these domains and concrete applications that answer the needs and demands from enterprises both large and small and in government. Howest is an EBSI early adopter and represents Belgium in the European Blockchain partnership.
